The Challenge
A construction contractor Valentino & Associates has done work for in the past contacted us to be a third party check on two surveyors who were already on site for this project. The problem was that the two existing survey companies were finding conflicting elevation data for the large concrete pad that was to be poured in the coming week. The contractor also needed a 20-foot spot elevation grid of the dirt for the existing building pad that was yet to be poured.
The Solution
We used our highly accurate robotic total stations as well as a digital level which reads elevations to the thousandth of a foot to collect all the necessary data to complete the survey as requested by the construction contractor.
The Outcome
The construction contractor was able to rectify the problems they were encountering on site and apply a fix so the project could continue on schedule.
